What happened during 추석...

So it came and go
Korea biggest celebration where millions of people travel back to where they belonged.
Yes, its 추석 [chuseok] a.k.a korean thanksgiving day.
So you think it would be big... for me that is.
But i had it pretty considering the 'news' i hear about how busy a korean family would be during chuseok.
3 days 2 nights that how long i spent in Yeosu.
Its really pretty there.....

Pretty right?
I am on an Island btw....

It was raining the whold day on the 2nd day i was there...
Thank You God for i brought a book with me....

But all i well i guess ^^

homework is times 3 more than last semester and all that 단어. oh how my head hurts from all that brain power used!

now 공부 시간 takes up most of my day. But i wanna play too~

and watch 김탁구~.

alas, what is important now is to pass my exam to be in 중급2 or else.... HABIS! [as they say in Malaysia]

But i will make time.

Because that is one of my philosophy in life.

Never say no time because its your life. you MAKE time.

So i will make time.

Everland!

Sun Moon university KLI 1st School Trip - Everland, Korea

So i went to Everland!

The whole language studens went and we explored Everland with our class.
My class. 8반
guess who's my 선생님(teacher) ^^

We went to so many crazy rides!
Apparently my classmates all love the adrenaline >.>
I never felt so crazy in my life. But its thrilling ^^
can you fine me????
Ever wondered what it felt like being tossed turned flipped around??
Well come to everland.
p/s: Never do the tossing to your pets!!!
like swinging them up in the air and then catch them. Its not a comfortable feeling for them.

I liked this ride.
It was a wet ride tho... thank God for the sun >.<~
Oh! Ain't my 선생님 (teacher) cute???
He's so funny too~~~

Aww~ i really like my teacher ^^
and my classmates too~

One thing i LOVE about Everland is that the animals!
They are SO close to you and moving!
well they are alive compare to animals in Malaysia where they sleep 24 hours...
and animals in everland looks so majestic and well taken care of~!!!!
look at this rare White Tiger~~~

This buddy of mine weights 360kg
and is bigger than an average human being!
Looking at sea lions and walruses in documentary it doesn't hit you that they can be SO big!
Seeing them this close really can make you feel that you will be in big trouble if you enter their tank!!
But he's cute~ ^^

Lastly, my class split up and went to wherever we want to go in everland and my friend here we're wih me the whole day~
자오리엔 from 중국 (china)

Korean Culture Class (한국 문화 체험)

It been more than a month since i updated.
So sorry to Jnel and Max and everyone else of course.
My life since i landed in Korea had been a busy one is just getting busier!
Who ever said learning language is a piece of cake =.=.....
Anyways~
I join a Korean Culture class. It is an after class activity where you have to pay like 30,000 won for 10 hours of the class. Approx 4-5 classes.
This blog entry is my 2nd class of what i paid for....
It was fun~ cause we 'celebrated' new year on April!
We wore Hanbok which is korean traditional clothes and made Rica cake and Dumpling soup and of course we played Yut (a korean traditional game) which is awesome!!!! >.<~

My whole class. Only 7 of us who joined this class plus one teacher.
She's hidden behind a guy... >.>
can you find her???

Then everyone did the Korean Traditional bow that youngsters do
every new year.
Boys only had to do ne bow while the girls 3 different bow!
And each bow has a different style!
tsk.....

Yut!
There was lots of shouting and throwing going on >.<~
My team won and we escaped the cleaning punishment huhuhu~

Lasty we cooked!
Kitchen was small but it was good~
At first i thought it would be a disaster
but in the end the food tasted good~!!!
and we eat till we drop.
Literally!

See what we made and eat~
It was good~
And it looks good too right?????

Can't wait for next week!
We're making kimchi~!!!

Movie -G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra

I was in JB last week and i Just reach home and Uncle Hong Wai ajak go to movie. What to do but say yes XP
GI Joe was chosen and it was good with great graphics and and story line not to mention all actors and actress are great!!!

G.I: Joe aka Goverment Issue:Joe is truly what i believe is every goverment's dream.
Story starts with...
2 elite soilders (Duke and Ripcord) find themselves in G.I:Joes' military training center after being ambushed by MARS. Duke then recognized one of the elite MARS soldier as his ex-fiancee, Baroness. When all was black (Duke and Ripcord almost died and MARS almost got the 4 warheads) the Joes came and attack. Don't blame Duke and Ripcord for almost dying. I mean, comparing their weapons with the joes and MARS... Duke and Ripcord's one looks like kiddies weapons. Yes, you will be totally awed by the technology of the weapons. Even i was like O.O!!!!
Seriously! They don't use bullets instead uses beams and lasers that will blast you off far far away. Suits that can make you go invisible, defy gravity etc...

Like i saw the graphic was good~

Anyway, i love all the character (^_^)v
But if i have to choose it would be Baroness and Storm Shadow~
Why???
Well because, Sienna Miller really looksgreat ^_^
Love her glasses which goes clear and dark with just a touch. I can tell she really trained alot to be able to fight like that. She just puts in so much effort!
Lee Byun Hun, well one thing is that this korean dude really went off well in his first english movie in hollywood. His english was good and so is hif fighting skills. Wearing only white he gives off aura that people thinks he's on the good side. But he's not. Storm Shadow, even tho he's the bad guys but he holds on strong morality. No to killing woman and kids and totally follows orders and he got one heck of a sense of pride.

Introducing Storm Shadow and Baroness played by Lee Byung Hun and Sienna Miller.

Here's Lee Byung Hun and 2 kids who were the younger version of Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes.
The left was snake eyes. The right Storm Shadow.

Movie - The Taking of Pelham 123

A day before Mrs Sam reaches Malaysia from Korea (Cheong Pyeong), he wanted to watch a movie as a single-lonely guy.

Venue: GSC, Mid Valley
Date: 5th August 2009; Wednesday
Time: 9pm

Originally we wanted to watch G.I Joe cause it was 8.30pm (its earlier) but...
Its was a Wednesday where ticket price is cut to half. RM14 divide 2 [you do the math]
So before reaching mid valley Close to 8pm (we were rushing!)
My head was fill with my nonsense/useless/overly reacted imagination of the situation @ GSC

"Long line (cause it wed ticket cheap and its at nite!), Definately no ticket (since GI Joe was like new), and we are gonna waste our time there...... no movie..."

I kept saying to to God "Let there be movie to enjoy~"

Honestly when we reached the place (we park the car across the road @ jusco side - long walk =.=) i was seriously surprise~

Good news: There was barely no line!
Bad news: GI Joe seat left 2 (very ngam~) but its the front front row =.=

In the end we decided on Pelham 123. Which is @ 9m (while waiting went to MPH and bought a book!)

The Taking of Pelham 123 - Review

This movie is full of action and honestly whe it is rated PG18 i was expecting something more...exposed???
This movie is definately not a love movie. It does not even have love essence. Except for one couple who was snogging each other through the internet =.= other than that ziltch! (which i totally love~)
I would say the reason its rated PG18, is because 1) its Malaysia~ 2) its because of the foul words which they(m'sia) muted the majority of it 3) because of all the shooting people John Travolta did which was cool~ not that i liked seeing people being killed but hey he's the bad guy. If he don't kill someone how is he gonna be one awesome bad guy?
Anyway, this movie has 2 major actors. Denzel Washington and John Travolta. 2 great actors. One on the good side the other on the baddie side. Both were awarded @ Academy Awards more than once!
This movie revolves around just the both of them, so i can't said who is the main actor. Both are the major ones who makes the movie super intense.

Pelham 123 is a named of a train that John/Rydar and his minions raided. Holding 17 hostages and demanding New York city to pay them the ransom of USD 10 million. Communicating with John/Rydar is Denzel/Garber who only Rydar will talk to. There were lots of action packed when the police were transporting the USD10 million from the bank to the train in time.

I always wonder why is John Travolta akways the bad guy but after watching his peformance in Pelham 123, i finally understood. John really was immersed in the character. you can tell. His acting and expression was splendidly expressed and not to mentioned his lines were awesome (i give credit that to the script writers)

Denzel Washington in this movie... i can't really say he's the total 100% good guy after all he did take a bribe but then he invested it all to his daughters. His character, Garber Walter is truly a guy with guts. Being in the train thing for years he really is a person who loves trains XD. But then Garber character really shown out with the help of the bad guy. Honestly, i truly felt Garber won't be exciting without Rydar.

Other roles in the movies are seriously minor ones even without them they can't really influence the intensity and the awesomeness of the movie. But they are still considered important. They are the ones who is in between the good and the bad.... like the mayor who really is a people person and yet the citizens of NY hated him. Garber's boss... the jack*** who neither good nor bad, he really dislike Garber and puts him in a difficult position and yet still have a reason to....

Anyway, overall this movie have been totally great with action packed and cheeky lines and the intensity between the good guys and the bad guys....

fyi, Rydar's personality still even after movie still remains to me a mysterious aura....

i give this movie 8/10 stars

Dae Mo Nim's words

Last Night while thinking of doing something

::idea::
Lets read~

So i went to the bookshelf and look for a book.
Then at the corner, sandwhich between 2 huge book lies a small blue ultra slim book called
"2nd Generation's Beautiful Culture"

Its the 3rd vol of DMN's speaches.

It really helps a lot to me.
It shows many thing need to improve and do.
DMN event teaches 2nd gen how to be a good child.

A quote from the book;

God said that 2nd gen is the flower of all flowers. The are the flower of all flowers that were born without original sin. He said that "the 2nd generation is the life of all lives. They are the love of all loves and the jewel of all jewels"

there is 11 point that needs to be engraved into our hearts

1)The value of 2nd generation
2)Build a True Family
3)Never Drink, Smoke, and use Drugs
4)Don't look, touch or take and eat
5)Our culture centered on God
6)Don't abuse public money
7)Don't abuse people's heart
8)Life of attendance to True Parents
9)Culture of reporting to True Parents and your parents
10)Don't tell lies
11)Let's keep promises we make with God

To me these thing are like the commandments in my live.

What strike me the most the the 9th point.
the culture of reporting.
It is utmost important to trust God, True Parents and our parents.
As God too wants and needs someone who he can trust.
So in order to keep a close relationship with Gd, True Parents and our parents always do reports.
Like when we are awake in the morning,
first greet God and True Parents
"Ah~ i had a wonderful sleep and am awake now. Good morning Heavenly Father and True Parents"
then you greet your parents,
minor thing like reporting small matters is a good thing as it helps to reflects upon ourselves if we did anything bad today. Self reflection helps us in becoming a person of good qualities...
